She lives outside Amsterdam. Astrid van der Hulst is the cofounder of Flow magazine, a popular international publication packed with paper goodies and beautiful illustrations that celebrates creativity, imperfection, and life's little pleasures. She lives outside Amsterdam. Flow magazine, created by Irene Smit and Astrid van der Hulst, is a popular international publication packed with paper goodies and beautiful illustrations that celebrates creativity, imperfection, and life's little pleasures. Deborah van der Schaaf is a freelance illustrator who has worked for various newspapers, magazines, and publishing houses. She studied illustration and graphic design at the Willem de Kooning Academy. She lives in Rotterdam.
