Autorenporträt

For the last eighteen years, I have been Executive Director of The Way Counseling where I have been counseling and mentoring young women. My dream of starting The Way Counseling was born in my own brokeness as a teenager struggling to overcome my eating disorder. I found healing many years ago through the avenue of counseling and the unconditional all-consuming tender love of Jesus.

I believe that living immersed in the unconditional love of Jesus is healing and life-changing. Sharing the love of Jesus is my passion. My husband Dan and I have been married for eighteen years and we have five children between the ages of seven and sixteen. My children inspire me, show me the love of Jesus, and teach me daily through their questions and insights.

I live in a swirl with five children from sports of all sorts, taking hikes to look for frogs, teaching my oldest to drive...my house is definitely not Southern Living worthy, but it is filled with laughter, love, and blessed noise.
