Produktbeschreibung
The texts tell the stories of the greatest Hero of Greco-Roman literature. The images are works by the greatest artists of humanity.
The result is a fascinating comic like you've never seen before.

'The Twelve Labors of Hercules - Arts and Comics' presents the story of the son of Zeus through the art of Caravaggio, Rubens, Veronese, Velasquez, Reni, Bouguereau and many other talents, in the dynamic and contemporary language of comics.

Today's world exposes us to hundreds of forms and channels of communication. Motivated by new forms of expression, the author, Guillermo Dalchiele, created this project, which seeks to disseminate mythological stories through new tools and languages. The result is this original and unprecedented Graphic Novel, which presents the adventures of the demigod Hercules illustrated with more than 270 works by renowned artists.

The narrative is freely interpreted from stories from Greco-Roman literature, the project does not seek to tell the story in its entirety. The images of the artworks were digitally contrasted, cropped and amalgamated. The objective of the book is not to show details of the original arts, nor the techniques, nor the sociocultural context in the conception of the work.

The proposal is to entertain, through a Graphic Novel with adventure, suspense, drama, eroticism, romance, art and culture.

Enjoy reading!
