Autorenporträt
The author of The Two Shining Families enjoyed the season of Halloween. As a child, she trick-or-treated. She had a costume, too. Time passed, and then the child grew. In her adult years, she would decorate the outside of her Mother's home with her brother, Paul. Corn stalks, scarecrows and pumpkins would shine up the yard. Also, the author celebrated Halloween with her sister, Kathy. Together they passed candy to the children, and then as a family, they sat by a fire with the neighbors. It was a special time shared. Although not everyone celebrates the season of Halloween, the author considers it a time for fun and camaraderie.
