He earned his Bachelors degree in business at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA at San Francisco State University. Keifer has been a small business owner, a radio DJ, a manager, a paralegal, and a writer. He continues to write many different types of books, novels, and poetry. He currently lives in San Francisco.
