It was my first year as a trapper when I encountered the undiscovered tribe. I was a part of an expedition led by Clark Harrison, a seasoned and experienced trapper in his own right.
This was by no means, Harrison's first expedition, and it had been a fruitful one, so far. We had managed to trap our fair share of beavers along the stream we were following, and we were poised to hit our quota for the expedition far ahead of schedule.
After having trapped our fair share of beavers along the stream we decided to follow its currents and see where it would lead us.
I was only a young man of twenty summers then, and this only excited me even more than I thought.
