Born into a pagan home in the late '50s in Nigeria, the author developed an unusual interest in Christian religion. Even though it was a taboo for the family members to attend church, he used to sneak into the village orthodox church. This helped him later to readily embrace the gospel when presented to him in his high school days. Since then, he has been active in various activities in the church of God.
