Autorenporträt
Donald Macdonald is an actor/ writer/ director. He is an award- winning screenwriter and novelist (Travels with a Wise Man. Pan). He has written eight books, including three thrillers. His now classic play Caravan, one of Australia's most successful and endearing stage comedies, is still making audiences laugh. Other plays include Hot Taps, Giuseppe, Saints Alive, Seasons, Boulevard Play and Truth. As an actor, he has toured his one man play of St. John's Gospel to Edinburgh, London and New York. His play, Letter to Larry, based on the life of Vivien Leigh, and directed by the author was first produced in London, and then in Paris to great acclaim. It has since had two more successful productions in London's West End. A film is being planned.
