Herbert George (H. G.) Wells was born on September, 21st 1866 in Bromley, United Kingdom. He is called "the father of science fiction" and is author of famous classics like The Time Machine, The Island of Doctor Moreau, The Invisble Man, The War of the Worlds, When the Sleeper Wakes and The First Men in the Moon. He died on August 13th, 1946 in London.
