His feathers are more beautiful than any other shifter of his kind and his parents are filthy rich bigots. They can't stand the fact that he's gay. Dressing in drag is something he loves, but Asura hides that part of himself whenever he's in public because he fears what his parents would do if they found out. The fact that he refuses to bend to their wishes and find a nice woman to marry has them spitting tacks. Cut-off from the money they've been giving him he has to work multiple jobs just to get by. He dreams of being able to save enough money to pursue his love of fashion and open his own clothing store. Meeting his fated mate wasn't part of the plan.
