Helmut Lambert, 1942 in Bonn geboren, als Diplomingenieur vierzig Jahre lang freiberuflicher Stadtplaner. Soziologie und Sozialgeschichte gehörten zu den Grundlagen seiner Arbeit. Nach Ende seiner beruflichen Laufbahn intensivierte er seine Studien. Lamberts Interessen sind mit Wissenschaft, Geschichte und Literatur breit gefächert, was ihm die Herstellung neuer Bezüge zwischen den Fachgebieten erlaubt, wie im Falle des vorliegenden Buches. Helmut Lambert ist verheiratet und hat zwei erwachsene Töchter. ¿Der Angriff des Kriegers auf das Friedliche¿ ist sein erstes Buch.
