Educated at Warwick University, rated as a top 10 university in the UK, Kangethe read Economics before graduating in 1985.

A varied and colourful professional working life followed. Starting as a door to door insurance salesperson, he moved into Investment Banking, where he spent fifteen years eventually rising to senior IT project manager with responsibilities for system applications in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Frankfurt and London.

On leaving banking, he briefly taught economics at a college in Suffolk, before taking a position with an employment organisation helping ex-offenders find employment.

A frequently published business author, he has an extensive portfolio of business articles, many of which are online, dating back several years.

He lives with his partner and works full time on his business interests, coaching and mentoring entrepreneurs and writing
