Gonzalez, who wrote "Esmeralda's Web, and "The Lingstroms" and with each book he seems to get better, scarier and yet they are stories we can't put down, we must know how they end and we must fight the temptation to peek ahead to the ending just because we have to know. J.R. writes about our nightmares as if we shared them with him, he likes to get into the minds of his characters to make them as real as possible so we can believe what they do and understand why they frighten us as well as inspire us to be better human beings and make the world a better place.
