Best known as the author of the Wizard of Oz stories, L. Frank Baum (18561919) wrote many other fantasy novels, in addition to poems, short stories, and scripts for stage and screen.
W. W. Denslow (18561915) is famous as the original illustrator of L. Frank Baum's many stories from the land of Oz.
