Autorenporträt
L. Frank Baum (1856-1919) was an American writer, best known for authoring the children's fantasy classic 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' (1900). He wrote 14 other novels in the Oz series, as well as 41 other novels, more than 80 short stories, and over 200 poems. He was also a passionate activist and worked as the secretary of the Equal Suffrage Club in South Dakota, advocating for women's rights.
