Autorenporträt
Christy Wiggins, a retired reading teacher, has always been a writer of poems, stories, essays, and personal note cards written to students, family, and friends. This inspirational book actually claims its origins from the note cards sent to various individuals with a problem. The author found it productive to have a list of scriptures that personified many of the difficulties that people struggle with throughout their years on earth. In this way, she could quickly access important scriptures to help her friends deal with those situations from a Biblical standpoint. In addition to a love for helping others, Christy was a wife and mother of three and also taught reading for twenty years in a small community school as well as working as a school educator in the No Child Left Behind Act of 2002. Christy remembers most fondly that the children she taught in Kindergarten were the ones she graduated from High Scool her last year of teaching. "One thing about Mrs. Wiggins," students would say. "She won't ever let you give up." All of her 100 plus students graduated in compliance with the state requirements that year. The whole community was proud. Mrs. Wiggins now lives a quiet and happy life with her husband of 47 years.
