Die 1949 in Krefeld geborene Ulrike von Stryk entdeckte bereits früh ihre Berufung. Nach dem Abitur entschied sie sich für ein Pädagogikstudium und ist seit 40 Jahren begeisterte Lehrerin. Sie ist verheiratet, hat eine Tochter und wohnt im schönen Esslingen, im Süden Deutschlands. Seit 35 Jahren verfasst Ulrike von Stryk Theaterstücke für ihre Schauspielgruppe. ¿The year 2525 ¿ Zurück aus der Zukunft¿ ist das erste Werk, das die Autorin auch einem breiteren Publikum zugänglich macht.
