The Year of Greats was quite a year!
As if weeks of wildfires weren't bad enough, people of the whole world endured the Great Pandemic. Then there were demonstrations for an end to racism and problems within police departments. Those led to out-of-control riots, pillaging, destruction, and murders. Just as things improved, there was a Great Blizzard in the northeast United States and the Great Earthquakes in Italy. But none of those things could prepare people for the Great Disappearances and the Great Ezekiel Invasion!
Through all of the turmoil, the story follows the lives of the Ashcraft family. The family was anything but perfect. But there was a grandmother in the family who prayed that her family would all become Christians. She wanted them, not to just become Christians, but to become leaders and maybe even evangelists. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
James 5:16b
During a year of world-wide disasters, riots, and otherwise unexplainable supernatural events, members of the Ashcraft family discover the faith they didn't know they needed.
The Year of Greats is suitable for middle school through adult readers. It contains no profanity, sex scenes, or detailed gruesome descriptions of death. It is written to present the discovery of conservative family values and the power of prayer, and scripture, across the backdrop of end-times disasters and fulfilled prophesy.
