Autorenporträt
Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Ali, an associate professor of Mechanical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia, received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Queen Mary, University of London, United Kingdom in 2011. He was a post-doc at Water and Energy Laboratory, University of California at Merced, United States during 2015-16 period.

Thermal sciences, heat transfer, electronics cooling, condensation, nanofluids, heat transfer devices and thermal management are his main areas of interest. Over the years, he supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate students and his work, in the form of more than 170 papers, have been featured in various reputed international journals. Dr Ali has also presented his work at several international and national conferences as an invited speaker and delivered various keynote talks.

He is the recipient of the 'Best Young Research Scholar Award' for 2017 in the Engineering category by Higher Education Commission of Government of Pakistan.. Dr Ali has also had the honor of receiving HEC's Best Research Paper Award (2013/2014) and Research Productivity Award by Pakistan Council of Science and Technology (2016-17). He is editor on various reputed journals in the field of thermal sciences notably Journal of Thermal Analysis and Caloremetry, Heat Transfer Engineering and International Journal of Thermofluids.

Furqan Jamil is a postgraduate researcher in Thermal System Engineering at University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila. He is working on the experimental and theoretical analysis on thermal regulation of photovoltaic panels using integrated phase change material with nano particles. His core areas of research are phase change materials and thermal management for photovoltaic. His work is published in highly reputable journals.

Hamza is currently working as a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department of COMSATSUniversity in Islamabad - Sahiwal Campus. He received his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering Specialization in Thermal System Engineering from Pakistani top-ranked University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila and his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from COMSATS University, Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus with a silver medal.

The focus of his research career is to develop and examine the compact and reliable heat transfer devices that can play an important role in engineering applications. His other research interests include advanced thermo-fluids, thermal management, electronic cooling, photovoltaic systems.
