Leslie M. Durr is a retired advanced practice mental health nurse, born and raised in New York. Transplanting to Charlottesville, Virginia, to teach at the university in 1974, she has spent the years practicing nursing as a professor, manager, and a clinical nurse specialist with a private practice of psychotherapy. Now retired, she has found joy in writing and getting the stories of a life-time down on paper.
