Autorenporträt
Brian was born in Liverpool, but spent a lot of his formative years in the Highlands of Scotland near Inverness, running wild with his school friends, dancing to traditional Scottish music played by his cousins on bagpipes and the fiddle, before being brought south to start his formal education.
Later he studied maths, gaining a degree in Pure Mathematics at Queen Mary University of London. An avid reader of all types of books fiction and historical, with a lifelong desire to learn, he was a lover of languages, becoming fluent in French and German, with a working knowledge of other languages. He had a wide and varied career, from HGV lorry and cab driver to maths teacher, eventually working in Munich as a senior executive, where he regained his love of wild open spaces, exploring the Alps by foot, skis and mountain biking.
He also worked tirelessly for Amnesty International, using his writing skills to lobby for those in need. This is his 3rd book, first to self publish. Any proceeds will be donated to the Trussel trust.
