Talia has worked in the early childhood field of education for more than 10 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University and her Master of Education degree from Bowie State University. Talia is a major advocate for children's rights, which is one of the reasons she wrote This Is My Body and These Are My Parts. When she is not teaching or facilitating professional development for other educators, she enjoys spending time with her family. She especially enjoys traveling to different amusement parks with her five year old son.
