Erik Roycraft wandered into this world unaware of what the heck was happening, and he expects to go out the same way, if with a little less fuss. Earlier in life he wasted quite a bit of time trying to find a map or climb high enough to get a better sense of his whereabouts, but the low points stretched on like parched valleys, and to this day clarity remains a distant mirage. He has come to accept this irony, more or less, as he continues his struggle to ascend.
