Autorenporträt

My name is Chris Barrie and I am fortunate enough to call myself a professional writer. I have written fiction for the last seven years and I have published a short story called The Virus. My first full length novel The Obsidians was released on the 1st of May.

In the past year I have worked as a freelance editor and copywriter in a series of blogs and magazine articles. I have also worked in the field of Public Relations. My writing is primarily science fiction about the five royal families of Obsidia, long exiled on Earth and dedicated to protecting their adopted home against a mysterious evil who strives to enslave humanity.

Away from writing, I live on the banks of Loch Ness in an awe inspiring location and can often be found camera in hand taking in the splendour of the beauty all around me.
