Carolyn started writing in the early 1980s. The Lord had prompted her to take pen and paper with her during her prayer times. She carried a recorder with her for when she was driving.

Carolyn lives in Washington State with her husband. She is the mother of four grown children, grandmother of thirteen, and great-grandmother of three. She works as a nurse in a skilled setting.

Carolyn is a member of Into His Chambers, International in Kent, Washington.

Carolyn's book, Thoughts, Words, Songs of the Heart, is a collection of her writings over the years. Carolyn is currently working on her next book, Out of Darkness.
