Initially, when I started putting my poems together my only real intention was to heal, as I worked my way to the last page. Then, I realized I had no real ending... no idea of when I would get to my "last page". I lost my way so many times trying to get to the finish line. This book has rebirthed me in a way that no self-help book or podcast ever could. Through A Dreamer's Eye is a book filled with intention-based and confessional poetry, which will allow you all to see what it looks like to finally show up for yourself. I've spent a lot of time daydreaming about peace, compartmentalizing my nightmares of bad habits I thought I would never get rid of, and fantasizing about what it feels like to receive the love I give on a daily basis. I finally feel alive, awake, and aware of the things that held me so low. My only intention is to inspire at least one reader to accept who they were, who they are now, and who they are trying to become, as I have inspired myself from start to finish. Life is but a dream, and I'll always treat it as such.
