Charles Lutwidge Dogson, better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll, was born on January 27, 1832 in Daresbury, Cheshire, England. He is the author of the classics "Alice¿s Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) and "Through the Looking-Glass" (1872). The book includes such well-known verses as "Jabberwocky" or "The Walrus and the Carpenter", and the episode involving Tweedledum and Tweedledee. This edition is decorated with 36 beautiful illustrations by Peter Newell (1862-1924).
