Autorenporträt
Augustus F. Lindley (1840 – 1873) was a British traveler, writer, Royal Navy officer in Hong Kong, and gold digger. During his stay in China, he was hired to train Taiping soldiers in British Army techniques and later documented his memories in the book of the Taiping Revolution.
