Autorenporträt
The author, Dr. Robert J. Turner,III is a retired surgeon living in Fort Worth, Texas. He has been retired for 17 years and, in retirement he has published a children's book, written essays, and poetry. He also draws and paints in watercolors, oil, and acrylic. He also served as a docent at the Kimbell Art Museum and the Fort Worth Museum of Modern Art. The only Medical endeavor that he has continued is being a surgical Quality assurance consultant for a Texas medical liability insurance company. Dr. John Smith, also a retired surgeon designed the cover for the poetry book. Dr. Smith also illustrated my children's book, Hello My Name Is Tiff .Dr. Smith lives with his wife in Burleson, Texas which is immediately south of Fort Worth. After years of private practice surgery, Dr. Smith worked in the local VA clinic before retiring. For many years, he was the cartoonist for the Tarrant County Physician which is the publication of the Tarrant County Medical Society.
