Across the past three decades, he has been one of the most gifted, creative and prolific writers of science works, beginning with resources for teachers and latterly writing speculative fiction about politics, industry and athletics.

Autorenporträt

Martin Knox graduated as a chemical engineer from Birmingham University in the UK and worked in the petroleum industry in Canada. He researched alternative systems of government at Imperial College, London. He emigrated to Australia and was employed in mining development. He became a high school science teacher, coached sport and wrote textbooks published by the Queensland Department of Education. He has been writing fiction novels full-time since 2013: speculative, love, crime and satire. He is involved in public policy-making, proposing an underground railway for Brisbane and reasoning about climate and Covid-19. He meets with writing and reading groups and studies philosophy. He writes letters, plays the guitar, sings badly and does outdoor gym. He is divorced with children and grandchildren.
