She was born in Jamaica and migrated to Los Angeles, California, as a teenager. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. She is a graduate of the School of the Prophets, University of Fort Lauderdale, Lauderhill, Florida. Colleen presently resides in Florida with her family.
