She is a native of Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, Schuylkill County ¿ the heart of the anthracite coal region ¿ and currently lives in Pike County near the Upper Delaware River. She is pursuing her M.A. in Sustainable Business and Communities at Goddard College.
