Autorenporträt
Sylvia Diaz's love of writing children's poetry started at a very young age.

As an adult, she couldn't wait to start her own family with her husband, but God had different plans for her, and so she decided to pursue her passion of writing as a way to reach kids.

Today, she's on a mission of becoming a published author of children's books and has taken a leap of faith and created a television pilot based on characters in one of her first series.

Sylvia is a proud member of SCBWI where she often attends seminars and workshops to hone her craft.

When she's not busy writing, she enjoys playtime on the beaches of Southern California with the love of her life, and their two fur babies, Sophie and Frankie, who happen to have leading roles in her book series based on her husband and their late Great Pyrenees dog, Shilo.
