Mary, is a retired teacher. She was born and grew up in St. John's, Newfoundland, in Canada. She attended Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she received a bachelor's degree in education. Mary and her husband, Peter, moved to a small community where they worked and raised two daughters. It was during the children's nightly story time that, "The Kitty and Tom Adventures," emerged. Now blessed with five grandchildren, Mary has a new audience.
