Jay Sklar is Professor of Old Testament at Covenant Theological Seminary, St Louis, Missouri. He is the author of 'Sin, Impurity, Sacrifice, Atonement: The Priestly Conceptions' (Sheffield Phoenix), articles on the theology of sin and atonement, and notes on Leviticus and Numbers in various study Bibles. Served as a contributor to, and editor of, notes on Leviticus for the ESV Study Bible. PhD from University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham.
