This book provides a study of developing country involvement in multilateral trade negotiations from the 1960s. It examines three periods of coalitional bargaining in UNCTAD, GATT and WTO trade negotiations and explores the possibility that economic globalization may finally offer an opportunity to climb the industrialization ladder and achieve development.
