Van thought she was doing the right thing by leaving the wonderful but financially-lacking Joe for millionaire Grant, but given the fallout from her decision, she's beginning to have second thoughts. She didn't count on the effect it would have on her twins, on her relationship with her cousin (and Grant's ex) Raven, or the fact that it would leave Joe hating her.

Joe is angry and bitter over giving all his heart and devotion to Van only to be left high and dry.
