Autorenporträt
Derek Tabor has written for publication as a Student Journalist, Technical Writing and short stories for fifteen years. Derek has completed his first novel, "twelve Crossings", which now appears on on this website.

Derek's writing reflects the eclectic nature of his life, drawing from a wealth of experiences of half a century on Earth. Having travelled to Canada, Guatemala and El Salvador as well as many areas of the United States he brings knowledge of different cultures and norms intrinsic to each area. Derek also brings a depth of work experience having been an Auto Mechanic, Combat Medic, EMT, Registered Nurse, Truck Driver, Projectionist, House Framer and Computer Repair Technician to name a few. Divorced with two daughters, Derek currently resides in Rhode Island.

Derek has been published in Chrysalis Reader (2007) and Oncology Nursing Forum (May - Jul 2000).
