Autorenporträt
Norman MacLeod is Director of Integrated Team Solutions, a provider of Crew Resource Management and corporate safety training in aviation. He was Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellow for 1995 - researching national approaches to pilot training and licensing. He has visited Sweden, the Czech Republic, Germany, Russia, the Ukraine and USA, holding meetings in each country with Aviation Authorities, major flying training schools and representative airlines. He has specialised in CBT, worked with WICAT on a Swissair ab-initio training project and acted as consultant to GKN Sankey on Desert Warrior for Kuwait CBT requirements and to UK Civil Aviation Authority on professional pilot exam design. Prior to this, he was Wing Commander in the RAF, responsible for conducting training at 5 RAF schools, covering everything from logistics to combat surgery for doctors as well as directing the work of 6 course design teams. At RAF Hereford, he was responsible for a staff of 250 instructors delivering a range of 45 courses to 10,000 students per year.
