The dwarfs of Jansoun is a group of stories written by Maroun Abboud, which monitors the Lebanese village world in a distinctive style that reveals his close association with this environment. This work conveys to us live and interesting pictures of rural life, highlighting different aspects and hidden myths. His interest is not limited to external worlds, but rather moves to the internal worlds of individuals, as it is characterized by its spontaneous language and colloquial use at times. This collection includes twenty -four rural stories, formulated by Abboud in an interesting and entertaining style, which makes it characterized by local and originality. Within the brilliance, Maroun Abboud was able, through these stories, to reflect the life of the simple rural society in its human aspects, in exchange for highlighting the life of the bleak and complex city society.
