Ranjan Ghosh teaches in the Department of English, University of North Bengal. Among his many books include Thinking Literature across Continents (Duke University Press, 2016, with J Hillis Milller), Philosophy and Poetry: Continental Perspectives ed. (Columbia University Press, 2019), The Plastic Turn (Cornell University Press, forthcoming). Trans(in)fusion: Reflections for Critical Thinking is the second volume of a trilogy on trans-philosophy that Ghosh is writing from Routledge (New York). The first volume was Transcultural Poetics and the Concept of the Poet (New York: Routledge, 2017) and the third volume called Transpoesis is due next. Georges Van Den Abbeele is Professor, School of Humanities, University of California, Irvine. Among his many books include Travel as Metaphor: From Montaigne to Rousseau (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 1992), translations of Jean-François Lyotard, The Differend: Phrases in Dispute (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 1988), Postmodern Fables (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 1997) and Enthusiasm: the Kantian Critique of History (Stanford: Stanford University Press, 2009).His next book is on "Sense and Singularity" in the philosophy of Jean-Luc Nancy. He is also the recipient of Blaise Pascal Medal, European Academy of Sciences.
