Autorenporträt
Emanuela Ettorre is an Associate Professor of English at "G. d'Annunzio" University of Chieti-Pescara. She has published on nineteenth-century literature, animal studies, women's travel writing and the relationship between science and literature. She has translated several volumes of Victorian ction by George Gissing, Thomas Hardy and Hubert Crackanthorpe.
Giuliano Mion is a Full Professor of Arabic Language and Literature at the University of Cagliari, where he teaches Arabic language, Arabic literature and Semitic linguistics. Specializing in linguistics and dialectology, he has authored numerous publications on Standard Arabic, Middle Arabic, Arabic phonetics, Jordanian sociolinguistics, Tunisian dialects, and popular culture.
