Jon Taylor is a former historian at the Harry S. Truman National Historic Site and Assistant Professor of History at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. He holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of Missouri at Columbia and has conducted research at the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum for seventeen years.
