The purpose of this piece is a compilation of my thoughts during the election cycle of 2016 between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Donald John Trump. Also included herein are my thoughts of how the press and other politicians treated Trump during his first term in office. To be honest, I have never seen a president so embattled as Donald Trump. Though it took a minute for me to look passed his oversized ego and bombastic personality, once I was on board the Trump Train, there was no getting off. That man worked harder and accomplished more in just a single term in office than most presidents can do in two. As the years went on and the media attacks were constant and relentless I saw a man who truly loves this country, who simply wants to restore it to greatness, and who wants to make the American Dream reachable and attainable for average working-class Americans. The more mud they slung at him, and the more viral the vitriol against him, the more resilient and resolved he had become. No one has fought harder to serve as president than Donald J. Trump.

HELLO!! My name is Lynn and I have been writing privately for many years. Recently, I've been asking myself: "What's the point of all that writing if it stays hidden on my computer and no one ever reads it?" Therefore, I have decided to make my writing public and self-publish it. Admittedly, organizing what has become a mountain of writing is a daunting task indeed, but one I am committed to investing time in.

Honestly, my goal was never to be a writer. It's not so much that I like to write as it is my need to get thought out of my head (it helps me to think more clearly). I spend/waste no time on drafts, and what comes out stays on the page with little or no editing. I wish I could have been a pianist or painter (even a dancer!), something that is musical or visual. Alas, writing chose me; and so, I'm collecting pieces I have written over the years and putting them into e-book/print form.
