MIDGE SHUSTA is the product of a German/ Irish mother and an English/Cherokee father. Growing up in the little mill town of Camas, Washington on the Columbia River Gorge, she appreciates the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and goes home as often as possible. She has traveled extensively and loves a good walk in the morning to clear the cobwebs before sitting down to write. Her greatest joy is being with her three children and grandchildren, all of whom live close. Midge and her husband, Bob, live in Lafayette, California.
