Elven Lindblad is the creator of the Tulsa Through the Years book series. His writings cover in detail the people and events that have made Tulsa, Oklahoma one of America's truly unique cities.

Tulsa Sounds: Celebrating the City's Musical Heritage is the first publication in the Tulsa Through the Years series. Other books will be published in 2019 and 2020.

Lindblad has over 40 years of professional experience in print and electronic sports journalism and information research. His research skills have also been utilized in such diverse industries as background screening, private education and financial institutions.

Lindblad is a member of the Tulsa Historical Society and four nationally-known sports organizations. He lives in a Tulsa suburb which is the childhood home of singer/actress Kristin Chenoweth.
