Autorenporträt

Michael Christopher was born and raised in a small rural town less than a half hour from Dannemora, NY. He was one of several family members that chose to work in Corrections. His career started at the age of eighteen working for more than a year at Sing-Sing prison. He worked ten more prisons in New York State, including Clinton, as he worked his way up the ladder reaching the rank of Lieutenant before his retirement with almost twenty-seven years of service. He worked inside some of the most dangerous places in the New York prison system. During the course of his duties, he had contact with literally tens of thousands of inmates, including some of the most infamous inmates like David Berkowitz 'The Son of Sam' a.k.a. 'the .44 Caliber Killer' and Robert Chambers a.k.a. 'The Preppy Killer'
