Pamir Halimzai Sahill is a researcher at the Jan Masaryk Centre for International Studies in Prague. He obtained his Ph.D. in International Relations from the Prague University of Economics and Business (Vysoká Skola ekonomická v Praze). He specialises in International Security, Terrorism Studies, Theories of Globalization, (Critical) Discourse Analysis, State-building Theory and Practice, (Foucauldian) Poststructuralism, Postcolonialism and Developmentalism, the politics and security of Afghanistan, South Asia, and Middle East and North Africa (MENA). His articles have been published in journals such as Women's Studies International Forum, Studies in Conflict and Terrorism, Insight Turkey, and Jan Masaryk Review of International Studies. He speaks English, Pashto, (Persian) Farsi, Urdu/Hindi, Punjabi, and Hindko.
