Autorenporträt
Arnold (Arnie) Jarmak is a documentary photographer and entrepreneur. He founded Jarmak Corp. in 1998, reclaiming antique lumber from New England's defunct mills and repurposing them for commercial and institutional clients. Raised in Marblehead, Massachusetts, he has been based in Chelsea since 1977. Jarmak's favorite book is Theodore Veblen's Theory of the Leisure Class. Joshua Resnek is a newspaper publisher and editor as well as independent investigative journalist based in Boston's North Shore. A native of Marblehead, Massachusetts, he was based in Chelsea from 1977 to 1991 and then from 1991 to 2012 as a part owner of the Chelsea Record. He is currently the publisher and editor in chief of the Everett Leader Herald. Resnek's favorite book is Tolstoy's War and Peace. Jarmak and Resnek met in the first grade and have been friends and colleagues ever since.
