Turkeytrib'15 was the 1st International Conference on Tribology - TURKEYTRIB'15 which was held from 7 to 9 October 2015 at the T Block, Auditorium, Yildiz Campus of Yildiz Technical University, Besiktas, Istanbul, Turkey. TURKEYTRIB'15 was organized by Yildiz Technical University, Mechanical Faculty, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Subdivision, Istanbul and Turkish Tribological Association Turkey.There was a high interest to the conference from all over the world (USA, Canada, Japan, China, India, Taivan, France, UK, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Tunisia, Malesia, Greece, Iran, Algeria and Turkey) with almost 148 full presented papers.This conference focused especially on new lubricants, determining the tribological properties of new materials, coating methods and improved tribological feature including these processes, and environmentally friendly oils. Especially, it is realized to help to turn the national level works into international publication.Industrial Lubrication and Tribology was extremely appropriate for the conference Turkeytrib'15. High qualified works, papers presented in the conference are published in the special Issue.
